WEBSITE REVIEW & DESIGN DIRECTIONS

One company.
Five ways forward.

Power Magnetics has a strong technical story. These concepts make it easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to act on.

What the current site gets right

The company has a clear specialty in custom transformers, reactors, and inductors; a manufacturing history dating to 1968; useful product details; and a distinctive durability motto. Its engineering page explains real capabilities in CAD, simulation, and system integration. Those are stronger starting points than a generic industrial sales pitch.

Where the homepage can work harder

01

Make the offer immediate.

The current introduction is a dense paragraph. Each concept opens with a focused value proposition and names the products in the first screen.

02

Help buyers find their fit.

A deep product menu and long descriptions require effort to scan. The concepts give the three product families a clear, visual entry point.

03

Give the next step priority.

Quote links, contact prompts, and a testimonial-submission form compete on the homepage. Each concept makes the engineering or project inquiry the primary action.

04

Let the evidence do the work.

Manufacturing history, capability ranges, and engineering services give the positioning substance. They are placed beside the offer, without invented customers or performance claims.

Power Forward

Product-led. American-made. Built for what’s next.

A centered brand masthead, separate black navigation bar, and electrical infrastructure banner give this direction its own identity. The headline, description, and inquiry links form one clear reading path. The meeting-informed layout gives transformers and reactors equal prominence, brings solar and data center applications forward, and emphasizes manufacturing in the USA.

Bold Current

A bold industrial identity. A different way to explore.

A persistent black side rail, oversized red typography, switchable product showcase, and expandable application stories create a different page structure. Original product photography, American manufacturing, and direct project inquiries keep the experience grounded in PMI.

RECOMMENDED STARTING POINT

Power Forward follows the client’s priorities.

Concept 04 gives transformers and reactors equal visual weight, places solar and data centers early in the page, and makes American manufacturing prominent. It follows the simple navigation and application-first organization discussed in the meeting, using FlexGen as a structural reference while preserving PMI’s identity. The bridge is reserved for the existing heritage concept and company-story content.

About these concepts

These are five responsive homepage prototypes. The top comparison bar belongs to the design review, not the proposed client website. Product and contact links lead to the client’s existing pages; the designs do not submit inquiries or replace the live website.

The original Power Magnetics logo is supplied by the client; product and bridge photography comes from the existing Power Magnetics site. The electrical substation banner and the solar and data center photographs in Power Forward and Bold Current are illustrative; they do not depict PMI products, facilities, projects, or customers. All five designs use the logo’s red, black, and white palette. Capability figures describe the published product range, not every individual unit. Current certification status, specifications, image permissions, and final copy should be confirmed with the client before a public launch.

The fourth concept’s Q&A is draft copy grounded in PMI’s published engineering and quote-request pages, for client review. The company video can be added when provided. Quote automation, analytics installation, the full-site SEO audit, and internal-page development are separate workstreams from this homepage concept.
